Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that Seo I-nam, Acting Chief of Muan-gun, visited the developing site of the Muan Specialized Aviation Industrial Complex Construction Project and tripped around the site to check the construction project.

Muan-gun invests 44.8 billion won in total to construct 350,000m2 the Specialized Aviation Industrial Complex nearby Muan International Airport by December this year. As a first step a part of the Industrial zone for the MRO Hanger will be completed by the end of June.

In the Specialized Aviation Industrial Complex, high-tech aviation industrialization facilities such as aviation maintenance depot and aviation logistics are scheduled to be built.
When the industrial complex is completed, it is expected to create large-scale jobs and revitalize the local economy.

Seo Yi-nam, acting chief of Muan-gun, said, “I hope that the construction will proceed without any setbacks according to the schedule, with safety as the basic basis at the site and the aviation maintenance (MRO) industry can play a role as a driving force for the development of Muan with increasing demand for aviation in the time of post COVID.”
