Topmeori beach, located in Piseo-ri, Mangwoon-myeon, has such a shallow slope that there is a drastic difference of beach width between the high and low tides. During low tide, it boasts a beach extending 2km in length and 100m in width augmented with beautiful sea pines that have been designated as a natural forest preserve. Sushi restaurants line the long beach , providing fresh fish to compliment the rich seaside experience.
Adjacent to the Muan International Airport , the beach is a popular getaway for families. It has beautiful scenery, but is never overcrowded. In the nearby waters there are many fish, including mullets and snappers, attracting sportsmen looking for plentiful fishing as well as recreation.
This area also produces sweet persimmons that are popular as gifts.
